Diffuser FAQs

Question: How often to clean the water tank?
Answer: As needed and depending on the hardness of the water, but at least once every 2 weeks. Follow the instructions in the manual for cleaning.

Question: Do impurities also evaporate along with the water?
Answer: Dust particles and other impurities are trapped in the water, only pure water enters the air during diffusion and the impurities remain trapped on the bottom and in the filter wick of the diffuser.

Question: Water is leaking from the diffuser. Why?
Answer: Make sure that the top cover on the device is properly attached. Also check the ambient humidity and temperature. At very low temperature or very high humidity, water vapour forms more easily, which then settles and forms puddles around the device.

Question: Can I use essential oil if I have allergies?
Answer: With proper dilution, there should be no allergic reaction. If you are not sure, perform this test. Mix 1 drop of essential oil with a few drops of almond oil and apply to the wrist. Do not use this oil if your skin becomes red or signs of irritation persist.

Question: Can empty aromatic diffusers be filled with perfume or other liquid fragrance?
Answer: No, always add water in the diffuser along with a few drops of essential oil.

Question: What size room would it be most effective in?
Answer: The product could be used in all room sizes, preferably large to medium size.

Question: What are the safety requirements?
Answer: WARNING: When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Please read all the instructions before using the product. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a product is used near children.
DO NOT overflow water, fill the diffuser always below the water mark.
DO NOT put fingers or hands into product.

CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock and Fire Hazard. This is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. For adult use only. For safe use, plug only into properly functioning, exposed 220-volt electrical wall outlet where product is ventilated and cannot contact bed covering or other material. DO NOT use with extension cords.
DO NOT immerse in water. DO NOT plug anything above it.

Question: What happens if I put too much water in a diffuser?
Answer: If you overfill your device with water and the water overflows, it can reach the diffuser's electrical components and cause a short circuit. The smartest thing to do in this scenario is to unplug the device from the power source, clean it, and leave it to dry for a couple of days. There's little or no diffusion.

Question: Where do I put a diffuser?
Answer: Placing a diffuser in the center of a room is the best way to get an even spread of scents, but that's not always practical. So instead, focus on placing them on surfaces that are relatively near the middle section of a room.

Question: How much oil do I put in a diffuser?
Answer: When deciding how many drops of essential oil to use, there are some general guidelines to follow. You will need 3 to 4 drops for a 200 ml size fragrance diffuser, 5 to 6 drops for a 300 ml capacity.

Question: How do I store diffuser oil?
Answer: Ideally, you want to keep your essential oils in a cool and dry place, preferably your kitchen or bathroom cupboards, or even a bookshelf that doesn't get direct sunlight. Additionally, it's best to ensure that your oils are kept in an amber or cobalt glass bottle to help block UV rays.
